There's been a reason for the silence. Under the still waters there has been a stirring of deep undercurrents and twisting and turning and tangling.

Today, I handed in my notice as a PA at a Music Publishing company. As of the 19th November I shall have a new, altogether more corporate job.

I still can't really believe that I've got it together to get on up and move on. It seems that I need some corporate experience under my belt to step into the next salary band and get those jobs so ellusive to me at present. I'm taking a sidestep, if you will.

This will be my first proper job, NOT in the music industry and I feel in a way as if I am becoming a grown up. Most of my musical shenanigans take place OUT of my workplace so it makes no sense not to take this opportunity for more financial reward and enjoy a slightly nicer life.

If any of you know of any persons who would be a good replacement me, get me their CV's. There'll be a Manga shaped opening for a good PA/Office Manager with some music industry experience.
