My Pearl Of Wisdom For Today

OK, enough wisdom for today -I need to have a lie down now.

I can highly, highly recommend my friend Sarah's web-blog. I spent a few minutes there catching up on her entries and laughed out loud twice and signed up to join a Luck survey as well as learning where there are scary dogs in the Arctic Circle. Someone alert The Observer!

Today I am mostly sending off applications to become a guinea pig for researchers who are investigating Eating Disorders. Although I have often been accused of being anorexic cos I look so skinny I am applying as a comparison volunteer.

Easter looms and the promise of some SUNSHINE no less! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

And Now For Something Completely Different!

I need help, help of the FUN kind, not give me some bone marrow/lend me cash/do my paper round for me kind you shall be relieved to hear.

I am currently building an area for my MUD game that will be based around Victorian England. I plan to write in Sherlock Holmes and Watson as characters you meet and Jack the Ripper as the big baddie that you have to kill right at the end, but I want to populate the area with other typical Victoran characters and locations, so any ideas?!
I think there will be bobbies and smog in some areas, maybe enchanted smog that will attack you and maybe Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde ooh help me think of more!

Booking bands

So I managed to get Hypopsycho a gig at the Bad Friday BBQ at the Windmill, should be lots of fun and FREE BURGERS methinks! And then I get the Big Nasty boys to play on the Easter Monday. I will be stuffed full of sausage. (Ooer!!)

In Other News

Over the weekend I watched Spirited Away and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on DVD which Sean projected onto the wall. I loved Spirited Away but was disappointed at the ending of CTHD. It depressed me!

Last night we went to Big Tristan's house to eat curry and there was a huge throng of us! Tristan made a gorgeous vegetable curry which made my mouth water just smelling it and then we had chocolate cake afterwards. Needless to day I got very drunk on the good company and good wine. A most enjoyable evening :)

I know this is reeeeeeeally sad, but I feel very sorry for Victoria Beckham right now. I hope that David didn't cheat on her as this would suck. Perhaps this is my latent guilt for being such a Queen Bitch in my time - but I do feel as if that must be the worst situation in the world. Yuck yuck yuck!!
