Feeling a little guilty today cos I snuck into Reading last night to watch The Vaults without calling any of my Reading homies up.

I know I am biased cos I am the Slave Master of the Drummer of The Vaults but if there was a definition for balls out rock The Vaults is that defining thing.

I saw Andrew ex-Gel there but we didnt chat, also bumped into Mark Blah Blah Blah and Tim Greaves (Radiohead TM),both famous Reading scensters still keeping it going down there. Men are bastards. They look BETTER with age, I now have to spade on a Grundon bin full of make up to look youthful and dewey-eyed. Why does age treat men in so much a gentler manner?

I saw Alex Kaupa too, an old school friend, and guitarist, I must get in touch with him soon. I have need for lead guitar players!!

The Vaults have TOUR DATES now, see below. I think as many of you LJers as possible should come to their London gig on Tuesday 10th (next Tuesday) at the Barfly as possible. Major lash up and on for White Heat clubbing beckons.

Hello you lovely people!

So I have had my full fifteen minutes now. Disco Pistol playing Reading Festival (including mediocre NME & Melody Maker mentions), my blink and you'll miss it turn on The Priory, my head to head (ooer!) with Vernon K. on Headjam, and finally being treated like the expert (that I am!) on Big Brothers EFourum as the Big Brother Obsessive Fan on Wednesday.

I must confess, my head has inflated to extreme proportions since my appearance, due largely to the many warmly received text messages and phone calls from people telling me JUST HOW GOOD I WAS!! Big props to the wonderful and warm person that was Nickie the make up artist who made me look pretty and girlie. I tempted her to come and visit Lush and Be Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful to look at all the lovely make up that we have there and she visited on Saturday.

Ewan who playes Keith from The Office was on the panel with me and he was telling me about a sitcom he's writing, I told him in turn about rhodri and sexyworld's sit com exploits. He seemed very interested and asked who they were. I replied flippantly, "Oh you must have heard of them, Rhodri is a writer for the broadsheets and Paul owns a record label." Namedropper that I am!

It was very very FUN. Back to real life now and writing about Pink Floyd.
