writes ..but to my evil plan. This may make me sound like a Le Tigre stroking fanzine knitting lesbian, *but* would anyone be interested in a clothes swapping party? I have so much shite (probably not the best way to sell it) that is festering at the bottom of my wardrobe, wouldnt it be a good idea to swap it with other people's festering clothes? Or, er, something... boys can join in to. But only if they're lesbians. Of if they just bring wine.

Convening of the Knit-wits

Keep the evening of Wednesday the 29th free, and pop down to Shepherds Bush for a knitting evening! Bring needles, wool, wine and snacks for an evening of knitting, gossip and cheesy 80's films. Boys are allowed if they come prepared to knit. We are mostly beginners so can show you how to get started or if you know your purl from your double cast on, come and guide us to new heights in knitwear!!

Last night, thanks t' the generosity o' Lara I completed an ambition o' mine 'n ate astronaut ice cream! (Bloody landlubber!) Havin' been brought up t' expect that one day we'd all be flyin' 'round in jet packs 'n that meals would come as a small pill (thanks Tomorrow's World) it was nice t' taste a piece o' the future.

Yesterday I achieved two personal milestones.

1. I have provisionally finished the puttin' together o' Bryan's manuscript. (Gangway!) Thar's just a couple o' spellin's t' check 'n that's it!!
   
2. At 1pm yesterday I couldn't knit. (Gangway!) Since then I have learned t' cast on, knit 'n cast off. (Gangway!) I have me own fat (12mm) needles 'n six squares o' colorful knitted wool for me first homemade scarf!
   

Thar was gonna be a whole lot more here but I have t' go fiddle with Sophia's new webpage now...blame her. (Sink me!) ;)
